We offer two types of meetings:
After-school meetings: Boys voluntarily attend these weekly after-school groups meetings. enjoying fun-filled recreational and learning activities that enhance their emotional wellness and their social and leadership skills.
In-school meetings: Boys with academic and/or behavior issues are required by school administration to attend Boys To Men Texas group meetings during school hours. Boys to Men mentors work closely with school administrators to provide additional support that empowers the boys to make behavioral changes to foster academic success.
Boys to Men's Texas School Mentoring Program is a community-based model serving middle school boys 13-14 and high school boys 15-17. The program is facilitated in partnership with schools, Boys to Men Texas mentors, and trained community volunteers.
By partnering with the schools and working closely with school administrators, we effectively identify and serve boys at risk.
How It Works

– Mentors model integrity, accountability, compassion, and respect.
– Boys are empowered to speak their truth and encouraged to take responsibility for their
– Boys feel supported, listened to, and valued.
– Boys feel safe and see that they are NOT ALONE in their struggles.
The one-hour weekly meetings combine learning, fun, leadership opportunities, peer mentoring, and self-esteem building exercises.
